On the Issues
Preserving Our Quality of Life
Joe Magazine has long fought to maintain and improve the quality of life in Miami Beach by focusing on policing and public safety, reducing short-term rentals and commercial usages in our residential areas, and tackling infrastructure and climate resiliency issues head-on. That passion has been a defining value guiding Joe’s career, and will continue to motivate him in the effort to make Miami Beach a place we are happy to call home.
Keeping Us Safe
Though Miami Beach’s struggles with overcrowding, crime, and violence have long been talking points in local elections, Joe Magazine is running to bring us solid, attainable solutions. He aims to prevent performers with a history of violence from holding shows near us, equip first responders with the resources they need in order to respond quickly and effectively, and engage in smart PR efforts across the country to discourage out-of-town partiers from visiting our community.
Reducing short-term rentals and commercial usages in our residential neighborhoods
As a concerned community advocate, Joe has been speaking out about reducing short-term rentals and commercial usages in our residential neighborhoods for years. Now, he’s ready to take the fight to the City Commission, stop the takeover of our community and make it an even greater and safer place to live.
Fighting for Resiliency
After over two decades of experience working in the finance sector to launch clean energy and infrastructure projects, Joe Magazine is well-equipped and eager to collaborate and deliver results. As a family man with a young daughter, he is especially dedicated to building a world in which the next generation can thrive.
